In its current form CIP is the creative playground and folio of Founder/Creative Director Pete Johnson, who primarily operates out of a shed studio on Wadawurrung Country – The Surf Coast of Victoria, Australia.
When founded in 2005, CIP stood for ‘Can I Play’. This approach of having a crack while enjoying the ride has always been at the core of the work carried out in the studio.
In 2017 CIP was engaged to create the brand for Up where Pete is now in-house Head of Brand, Creative & Art. The Up app is designed, built and operated by an incredibly talented team – all work at Up is highly collaborative.
